The education day was a great success!

Vickie Young and Patrick (P.M.) Cunningham of Madison, Indiana

Mr. Cunningham works on a kidney canteen, repairing holes for a re-enactor whose leaky canteen had pinholes in the bottom. Although Mr. Cunningham did not manufacture it, he happily repaired it, without charge, for the fairgoer.
In the foreground, a fire pot is hot and lets out smoke, keeping the solder at the tinner's ready. This photo is the result of a much-watched much so, that children were promised a photo of it on the internet so they could see the finished product. To the right of the fire pot is a small pierced lantern.
